After checking out of Pillarbox Cottage in Matlock on 5th January, we decided to take in one last walk in Derbyshire before driving back to Birmingham.
At Monyash
After walking for a couple of hours, we had a drink and snack at a lovely little place called the Old Smithy - a small cafe-bistro dwarfed by a village pub right next door called the Bulls Head. The Old Smith also did ale, and we were glad we chose this more intimate and friendly place.
